NATIVE PLANT NURSERIES

Finding native plants is sometimes a chore. Luckily, many of our local garden centers are carrying more natives now, but often they are cultivars or selections. To encourage retail nurseries to stock native plants, we recommend that you ask the plant buyer of the nursery to place a special order. An excellent source for native plants is local native plant sales held at botanical gardens, and county parks. Listed below are native plant nurseries, some sell retail and others sell wholesale to the landscaping trade. If you are working with a landscape contractor you can ask them to purchase the plants at a wholesale-only native plant nursery on your behalf.
